MEET THE KINGS
SEXY GALEXY
Sexy started performing as a King and a Queen in 1993, it wasn’t until 1998 that Sexy settled on the King persona of Sexy Galexy. After 9 years of performing, Sexy finally started to get the success he was working towards. Creating his own weekly and monthly King nights, also being involved in the Drag queen circuit, where he performed along side Queens in their weekly production shows and performance nights.
Some of his achievements include, 3 consecutive Sydney Diva Awards, performing shows for Mardi Gras, Sleaze Ball, Queer TV, Gay Games, Pride, Tropical Fruits as well as performing in spaces all over the country before moving overseas in 2006. Performing in London, Brighton, Cambridge, Manchester, Amsterdam, Belgium and Stockholm.
Fast Forward to 2021, Sexy now resides in Sydney and continues to raise the bar as a professional performer through self-produced shows and performances, including touring his solo show “Manliness” ,headlining Broken Heel Festival, the only King on ABC TV’s “You Can’t Ask That” Drag episode, “King for a Day” program, and his new character ‘Molly Melodrama’, a homage to Molly Meldrum in ‘The Countdown Experience’, , and just recently cast as himself in the new Tik Tok series, Scattered, now available to view.
